Before we discuss about the healthy eating habits, let us try to understand the basic composition of food we eat. This food is comprises of carbohydrates, proteins, fts, minerals, vitamins, water etc.These provide us energy through which we can perform all over regular activities. The energy which we gain through food is measured in calories.Each and every food item has some calorie value. According to the weight, height, physical activity level each person require specific calories. If he/she follows a sedentary life style and eats a lot energy im balance is created in body due to which obesity arises. Here comes the role of healthy eating habits and lifestyle. Following guidelines will help you in maintaining your energy imbalance.
1)Avoid deep-fried fatty foods.
2)Include a variety of food items like cereals, pulses, fruits, vegetables, sugars, milk and milk products, meat, poultry in your regular meals.
3)Eat a plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
4) Once in a while it is good to eat outside but do not make it a regular habit.If possible avoid eating outside. 5) Exercise regularly for at least half an hour daily.Do not start with a rigorous exercise schduele suddenly as it can do more harm than good.
6)Avoid stress-proper relaxation technique, breathing patterns can be used for this. Above all enjoy life as it is the greatest gift of god
