I have hired a laptop repair service from Urban Clap(booking amount Rs 249/-), they assigned a technician who visited my place for service on Monday 06 May 2019, he asked me Rs 600/- for Laptop service and asked me to pay directly via paytm or cash, when I denied directed payment he told me that UC will charge additional 18% GST if I pay via UC, I said whateber be the case I am going to pay via logical rout only and that is UC, he than charged Rs. 754 additional to what I have already paid to UC for service, I enquired about these charges on which he told me that initial booking amount was just for booking an appointment where as I checked on UC and they tolds me that the amount should be adjusted in final paid amount, also they are not imposing any GST on this.
That means I should have paid Rs 351/- to him as I have already paid Rs 249 to UC, he has taken total Rs 1003/ - from me by giving false information.
Urbanclap failed to put a check on frauds and providing them opportunity to cheat more and more clients.
I have lost all my respect and trust in UC, so please BE CAREFUL while booking any service from UC.
UC executive also accepted the fault but failed to provide any solution, they simply said that its a vendor issue, that, means they have no responsibility of the vendors they are allocating for us.
