Had problem with my AC(low cooling), booked technician using UrbanClap.


Bad experience. Points below:




  1. Technician came, figured out gas was low, recharged. Paid him Rs.2500/-




  2. Next day morning, AC stopped cooling altogether.




  3. Called the person who had come, he came again, figured out that capacitor was bad, brought new one. Gave him Rs.500/-




  4. After few hours, initial problem cropped up again(low cooling)




  5. By this time technician went home for Ed.




  6. Tried to contact UrbanClap, found out that there was no provision in app to call their customer service or even message them. The only way to go to service history, raise a issue and they are to call back in 60 minutes. Too bad if one is not available to take their call.




  7. Anyways they did call and I did take the call, they sent another technician. He came during afternoon and inspected, told me that AC is overheating therefore cannot be handled till it cools down. Refused to wait because he had another call.




  8. Got UrbanClap care number suing Google but it goes to IVR and disconnects. So used app's service history again and message came that they would call.




  9. Call came after few hours and they were not even aware that the problem was still not resolved (point 7 above). Promised to allocate another technician and confirm me after 5-10 minutes.






10 This was 7 hours ago, there has been no call from them and no way for me to contact them. When I use app, it says that problem has already been escalated.


I will call AC technician on my own tomorrow and will pay him to solve the problem for which I have already paid UrbanClap. Not likely to make the mistake again to contact UrbanClap for any of the services.
