In My opinion with windows software . you can not I repeat can not stress it out too muchsmirk, it is a very delicate OS and requires TLC to run properly. It is a good idea to clear out your internet cache and delete any files or programs that you do not use anymore. In addition to this you should Scandisk and Defrag at least once a month, although I do it once evey 2 weeks. It is just good practice and it keeps your programs in order and your Hard drive error free. Windows is a very nice OS if you take care of it and dont try to do too much at one time, it isnt designed for that! if you want that kind of OS then try a unix based system like LINUX or FREEBSD, these OS's are highly reliable and stable. As with any OS that isnt main stream you will not find half the software for Linux that you will for Windows. Seems all software these days is geared to Windows there for everyone uses Windows. slowly but surely software is being written for other OS's. So for now Take care of your Windows OS and dont try to over do it!
