Unlawful. Review on Unlawful Entry Movie

I saw ''Unlawful Entry'' a few years ago on HBO TV, and I enjoyed it very much. Since than I?ve tried to find its video at the library well I had no success when trying to locate this movie at the library. I was fortunate to catch it again on HBO last week; I enjoyed its mystery and intrigue.

The concept of a crazed, and obsessed cop so engulfed with envy goes to great lengths to get what another man has as told by writer and director Jonathan Kaplan, Gorge Putnam, and John Katchmer. The script of ''Unlawful Entry'' is well written along with very good direction by Jonathan Kaplan.

''Unlawful Entry'' is written and directed by Jonathan Kaplan, George Putnam, and John Katchmer. This movie was released in 1992; its running time is 2 hours and 17 minutes.

In this movie an envious, and psychotic cop who appears like a normal friend of a wealthy couple portrayed by Roy Liotta (Hannibal) becomes center stage when he wants every thing that his friend has. The perfect wife, Portrayed by Madeleine Stowe (Revenge) a beautiful home, and wealth.

Micheal Carr portrayed by Kurt Russell (Break Down) finds himself in a triangle of strange events when his home is broken into by a burglar, and his friend, the policeman appears at this scene of the crime, and many more crime scenes unexpectedly.

Micheal finds himself in another strange series of events when his credit cards are suddenly over drawn and his account closed; a traffic boot is placed on his car, as a result of numerous tickets and traffic violations. All of which Micheal knows nothing about, all of these events occur when he discovers that his friend, the cop is becoming too familiar with his wife. He?s told to stay away from he and his wife, but Officer Pete begins to stalk Micheal?s wife.

As this movie goes on we discover a gruesome side of horror with Officer Pete when he commits murder. He eventually takes his friends Micheal and Karen to what appears to be an endless edge on your seat climax of horror. I stop here you must get this movie to see what happens next.

Final Thoughts on Unlawful Entry

Overall, ''Unlawful Entry'' is an excellent thriller with a very interesting twist of horror. The performances by lead actors Roy Loitia, Madeleine Stowe, and Kurt Russell are excellent. The direction is also excellent as director Jonathan Kaplan takes us on a whirlwind of mystery, horror, drama, intrigue and scary moments of jolting suspense. The acting by this entire cast is a great contribution to this movie as well.

Unlawful Entry is a must see movie. It scores five stars, it?s excellent.
