I am Dr.Martin Harris!. Review on Unknown Movie

"Unknown" is a good thriller to watch which goes on for 113 minutes, and it's best to watch without any break, since then you can feel the pace of the story, as I downloaded and watched it. Good acting, good story, and screenplay, makes this movie watchable. Now, let us see the basic story of the movie.

A couple landed in Berlin - Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and Liz (January Jones). Dr.Martin has to deliever a speech in a Biotechnology summit held by Prince Shada (Mido Hamada) of Saudi Arabia, hence is invited by a scientist Prof. Bressler (Sebastian Koch), who is working on an evolutionary crop of corn, which can change the world's scenario. But Martin forgot one of his bag at airport, which contains his Passport IDs, when he went back to fetch that, his Taxi met with an accident, hence he landed in a hospital. When he came back, he found that his identity is stolen, now, he has to get back his identity, as nobody is believing him, not even his own wife, and he has no IDs to prove. He took the help of that same taxi driver Gina (Diane Kruger) who was driving the taxi which met with accident, and also met with an German ex-secret Agent Ernst Jurgen (Bruno Ganz), and also called his friend Prof Rodney Cole (Frank Langella) for his identification. He has to prove the other Martin Harris (Aidan Quinn) wrong, but wait, there is one more twist... Watch it.

Nice story, and wonderful screenplay(Oliver Butcher, Stephen Cornwell), except at 2-3 places, you found yourself glued to the film, such a ride is provided by the film. Movie is based on a novel 'Out of My Head' written by a french author Didier Van Cauwelaert. Direction (Jaume Collet-Serra) is good, everything seems in place. He is a spanish film director, who has given films like House of Wax (Horror), Goal 2 (Sports), and Orphan (Psychological Thriller), so I must say that he has done a good job by making this thriller film. Everybody's acted quite well, but Liam and Diane stands tall, since they were the main leads. You may have seen him in 'Schindler's List' and 'The A Team', and he is also the voice of Aslan in 'The Chronicles of Narnia' series of films. Diane is seen before in 'Troy', 'National Treasure', and 'Inglorious Basterds'. Suspense-thrills worked great for this movie, as it held well, and when the last twist opens, I got amazed, maybe many thriller-novels reader can get that twist before its revelation. This movie is considered a Hit in US, as per the collections shown on Wikipedia ($134,887,487). Some of the good scenes includes-

All-in-all, this movie is a good timepass, but make sure to watch it in one-go, if possible, only then this thriller can be enjoyed. My take 3.5/5.
