I study in maitreyi college of delhi university. It comes in south campus of the university. I find myself quite comfortable studying here. It includes variety of crowd from all over the country. Students get lot of exposure and talented and eminent teachers.
The cbcs system follows informative course, grading system and good syllabus. Presentations, assignments, practicals and tests give one practical knowledge and confidence.
The infrasture of university is on a par. Spacious rooms are available with 24 hours electricity system. The gardens, grounds and auditoriums are available for students.
Regular seminars, competitions and functions are held. The freshers, fests and farewell are held with such extreme enthusiasm that it creates an aura of awe. Fests especially give a lot of opportunity and exposure to students where anyone in du can participate in events and avail prizes. It even provides opportunity to watch and hear actors and various singers.
The alumni meet is held every year with lot of vigour. The placement cell is very active.
There are lot of opportunities given to students through internships. The various societies like dancing, singing, debate, drama etc. give exposure. Various non official societies like leaders for tomorrow help in giving experience of leading through front.
Over all, it is a nice university with lot of opportunities and free ambience.
