Bought Healthcare policy with Universal General Sompo after several enquirers, benefits, low premium and based on user reviews, and also by thinking we are young so we wont be hospitalized in this age.
Unfortunately, after couple of months, an emergency admission was required to my wife, where I have taken my wife to Universal Sompo's network hospital only, but in that hospital they never heard about this company's name at all. I have requested for a pre-authorization, which was rejected by Universal General Sompo strangely, stating to go for reimbursement.
I only have to paid entire hospital expenses, and later I went to claim reimbursement and submitted all my complete original documentation provided by hospital(Claim #103006), but Universal General sompo is demanding few more documents every time, which was rejected by hospital authorities states it is completely against to their rules, since no insurance company asks these kind of documents, and also laughing at me with what company's policy I owned for, is a big insult to me. Most annoying thing was, although if this insurance company is not ready for reimbursement, later I requested to send back all the original docs at-least, which I have submitted to this insurance company earlier(such as original MRIs scans, doctor prescription and records), so that it can useful if I go to any further treatments in future, but this company stop responding even to my mails.
