We had a harrowing experience while transferring our goods within Mumbai. We were informed that 3-4 ppl will be coming in and it would take abt 6-7 hours to complete the task.
So we arranged things accordingly. but to our horror on the D-day there are 10 ppl standing in our tiny house asking us to hurry up and coz they have to go to another customer as well. so in 2 hrs our whole house was packed in Paper, yes paper not even boxes. you can imagine the damage it cost to all our stuff. Things were broken and expensive furniture was scratched.
However this is not even the beginning of the aweful experince.
They refused to unload the stuff, untill they were paid in full. which was never mentioned before. one would think that u pay for the service once u receive it. do u pay at a restaurant before u eat the food. Do they refuse to serve u food saying that u will not pay the bill later. thats exactly what we were told that we will not pay them. we offered to pay 50% as half of the task was completed and that once they unload we would make the full payment immediately.
The marketing lady(or u can say a receptionist her name is karishma patel) bluffs and fools you like being the cheapest packer and fastest deliver and once the deal is through she will never pick up your phone and when u will call from other number, she will cut the call desperately.
Rudeness, Abuse, lies, blackmail, they can resort to anything and everything.
Friends I will request you to trust me and never ever go for United packers and Movers even if they are delivering ur goods at zero cost.
As for me I am filing a case against them at the consumer court.
