Dubai Everything you hear about Dubai is true. It is wealthy, beautiful, safe and above all caries a certain degree of opulence that demands worldwide attention. However, wealth alone does not elevate
the quality of life of the residence. There are more underlying basic ideals a society has to embrace if it has to prepare its youth for the future. Paramount among them is the idea of social equality. The Westerners (whites) in Dubai are encouraged to practice a mild form of apartheid in the United Arab Emirates. There are numerous bars and night clubs in Dubai exclusively for the White crowd. Even queues and lines in public places like airports, hospitals and traffic fine payment counters are based on ethnicity. I have heard from Europeans who have visited Dubai at how disgusting it feels to be treated differently.Economic apartheid is probably the worst form of racism.
