After watching the Hindi movies for a certain amount of time, some characters are still in my mind without any change. Even if this is a subjective topic, I would like to express my views here.

1) AMAN (Shahrukh Khan - Kal Ho Na Ho)

The character who influenced me the most. I don't believe that any human being can be this much loving and caring in his life. He loves Preity so much that he wants to help her in all ways before his death as doctors were certain about his death and nothing could save him. He brought love and happiness to the minds of all people in the neighbourhood. He captured the minds of all in a flash and this is one of the best character Shahrukh has ever got and he has given a fascinating performance. This movie was one true family entertainer.

2) RAJ ARYAN (Shahrukh Khan - Mohabbatein)

Raj Aryan was the music teacher who spread the words of love in the college where there was no place for love as the principal was too strict. He always felt the presence of the one he loved earlier, but now no longer with him, the daughter of the principal. Shahrukh Khan once again proved his ability in this movie and no one else would have suited this role better than this man as this was one perfect role for him.

3) MUNNABHAI (Sanjay Dutt - Munnabhai MBBS)

Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a don who really has a loving heart and wants to become a doctor for the joy of his parents. He is a don, but he is afraid of operating human body, when it comes to being a doctor. He also has love and compassion for others especially those who have no hopes and those who are in dire straits. Sanjay Dutt suits this role well as a don as well as a good, loving and compassionate human being.

4) MUNNA (Aamir Khan - Rangeela)

Munna played by Aamir Khan is not just a usual simple black ticket seller. He has a beautiful mind and some times his expressions are like kids. Aamir Khan was the one who made this character a magical one. I don't think that this character would not have been this much popular if it was played by some body else. Aamir Khan got everything right with this character. There are hidden chances for both fun and tears when this character is in the screen.

5) SAMEER (Saif Ali Khan - Dil Chahta Hai)

The character in Hum Tum has some similiarities with Sameer in Dil Chahta Hai. This is really a funny, but also a bit serious at some times character - a perfect fit to the song 'Woh Ladki Hai Kahan'. A person who had been worried about girl friends only finally falls in real love with one. Saif Ali Khan has a cool look throughout the movie. This movie surely would have been incomplete without this character.

6) MOGAMBO (Amrish Puri - Mr. India)

One of the most interesting villians of all times belong to the super hit movie Mr. India, a perfect entertainer. The words 'Mogambo khush huva' keeps on coming out of his mouth and his expressions really match a cruel, fanatic traitor which he is in the movie. A usual villain is made a very important one by the one and only man, one of the best worker of villain roles of all times - Amrish Puri.

7) GABBAR SINGH (Amjith Khan - Sholay)

This cruel mastermind doesn't seem to need an introduction as he is the most important character in one of the greatest hits of all times - Sholay. He really was an unforgettable character as he has some bad intention in his mind even if he smiles. He has high leadership quality and is too strict that he cannot endure even a slight mistake. Failure is the word he hates most. There are a lots of comedy programmes featuring this character. This shows the popularity of this character in India.

8) BHUVAN (Aamir Khan - Lagaan)

Bhuvan played by Aamir Khan is really an epitomie of courage, confidence and the desire to win. He does what he says. This character is more than the central character of a movie nominated for the Oscars. He is a perfect example for any body who are trying to achieve some thing that is very hard to achieve. One character who has a great decision making ability when needed.

9) MALLIK (Ajay Devgan - Company)

Ajay Devgan as Mallik give beautiful performance in the movie. He has not had this type of role. An underworld don is not a role which has very much probabilty of acting. But Ajay Devgan has once again proved that he is still one of the best in Bollywood.

10) ASHWIN GUPTA (Thushar Kapoor - Khakee)

Thushar Kapoor plays the role of a young inspector, rather inexperienced handling a big case. He has proved by his acting in Khakee that he is not inexperienced in his real life. The role was only a small one, but the main character who is in the final scene of the film. He has put great effort in the role and has made it one of the best. His performances in all other films till now has not been the best, but this one stands tall.
