Heart touching serial. Review on Uncle Urfi

When UNCLE URFI was first telecasted I was only four years old and do not remember watching it. I saw the serial first when it was re-telecasted in late 80?s but still had no traces of it in my mind. Recently I bought the videocassettes of the serial and watched it with complete concentration. Frankly speaking it had been an amazing surprise for me right from the beginning till it?s end.

I was astonished by the standard of acting performed by not one but all the artists. Everybody looked so fit in his / her role. I wonder if our current directors and actors can produce any serial like that. Although the serial mainly revolves around Uncle Urfi (Shakeel) who performed one of the most memorable characters of his life, counter part girl Beena (Shehla Ahmad) performed equally well.

Unfortunately the lady never appeared on the television screen again. The end??..I would say is a bit controversial and the serial could have been finished in a much better way. Despite that it?s a heart touching beautiful romantic comedy and a must-watch stuff.
