Uncle Tom's Cabin is the book which I was not able to enjoy properly may be because it was written way back before I was born :P.
But the selling and buying of humans is really some worst aspect of human history. Humans being sold like cats and dogs, kids being snatched from their parents and the reason behind this indifference was BLACK color of their "Undignified Race". The undying spirit and faith of UNCLE TOM is something I envy, he worked like an animal, he kept his faith in the unknown and unseen and he was rewarded. Then there is some story behind this book which helped to eradicate the slavery from America.
This book is one of the greatest literary works ever done. I loved this book for the rebellion of George, the honesty of Evangeline and the Faith of Uncle TOM. This book is also one of the books which can be kept forever close to one's heart. RECOMMENDED to everyone, who is a lover of good literature and is fed up of the sex stories in the books.
