This place is near to reach from sirsi. It took me about 1 hour of trekking to reach the place. I would suggest to avoid this place in heavy rains as the road is very slippery and not so visible due to fog.
The waterfall has roaring, almost deafening sound. It is actually a river which falls into a deep valley. The view of this waterfall is stunning, But going into waterfall is also dangerous. The water has heavy flow and because of fog One can not measure the depth of the water.
I found the place less crowded as it is slightly difficult to reach. However if you like trekking it is a must visit place in monsoon.
