It's not even a year I sold my Ultrafresh chimey (Diana, 90cm) and Hob. I was approached by a Sales agent Somenath, where I selected a 4 burner hob and the chimney and accordingly made the payment in advance cheque.
However just before delivering I was told that the four burner hob was not available and is no more a running product, so they suggested a three burner top of higher price at the same price. How fool was I that I never inquired about the nature of the burners as in this 3 burner hob there is no small burner (1 KW or 1.65 KW) which can save gas. And hence soon my gap usage increased by 50% .
Now regarding the chimney lot many things were stated and also additional oil collector. Though I found an external oil collector attached to the chimney, however I felt to understand why is never shows any droplets of oil in it, though couple of times the filter was serviced it was full of oil.
The sound at low and medium reminds of huge industrial exhausts.
Last but not the least is the service of Ultrafresh, If you look at their site with service policy defines / provides the disclaimers mostly and not what will be done and what the SLA is. In kolkata city, it is only one day of a week pre-planned in a specific area irrespective of the nature of problem what you may be in.
SO PLEASE think, until you have enough spare money, please do not go for Ultrafresh....
