Udta punjab is an upcoming crime thriller. The film is abhishek chaubey's attempt to draw people's attention to the raging problem of drug abuse in punjab.
Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh's Udta Punjab got off to a flying start as it collected Rs 33.80 crore at the end of the first weekend. The film had a steady first week and though several film released this week, it remained steady at the domestic box office.
