The movie was in demand due to the controversy facing for releasing without a cut. so I went to watch it.
All actors play their individual role fabulously.
The acting of Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhat was so good.A story that revolves around drug abuse in the affluent north Indian State of Punjab and how the youth there have succumbed to it en-masse resulting in a socio-economic decline.
And how an officer and a doctor fights against the person who manufactures these poisons.Music and songs of, movie are also good, especially the song "ek kudii". lyrics of the song is so good.
This film is hilarious in many parts! And still, its emotional content is too strong! Excellent work on direction, writing, screenplay, editing. Never bores you.
UdtaPunjab #UdtaPunjab is a must watch! This film, while dealing with an important issue, doesn't preach. It grips you with it's emotional. .and funny content! I salute the makers for making such a bold film! #UdtaPunjab 9.5* from me! Alia's performance as a field worker is commendable. Her struggle to escape the harsh reality is met with horrific consequences but she is a fighter, who survives the storm. The impact is such that it will stay with you even when you leave the theater.
