Spoiler -3 stories going on at the same time 1- Tommy Singh(shahid kapoor) a famous rock star who is a drug addict and all his fans also follow him in using drugs . So Tommy gets arrested and gets out on bail, . 2- alia Bhat, a worker from Bihar who is there to support her family by working in a farm and accidentally gets a packet of 3 kilos heroin.3 - a doctor(kareena kapoor) who is fighting against use of drugs and is treating a kid named balli, who is the younger brother of a cop - sarjit. Tommy has to stop using drugs else he will be put back in jail . Alia Bhat finds a buyer for her drug but she throws it away into a well as she gets scared so the buyers put her in a room and make her get addicted to drugs and use her like an object. Doctor and sarjit are now after the channel of drugs distribution and to get to roots of it and bring them in open and use the election commission and media to their advantage so they some how get to link the whole stuff to the current MP of state and is after collecting evidences against him . Mean while balli is under the rehabilitation centre of the doctor where he is getting frustrated. Alia Bhat escapes from the drug dealers place and meets Tommy who is running from his fans as he disappoints them . Tommy gets impressed with her before he could make his move she is taken back into custody of the drug dealers . Alia is getting stronger and fighting drugs by keeping herself clean and Tommy is searching alia as she gave him mental strength to over come drugs . What will happen to the doctor? What will happen to balli and sarjit? Can Tommy and alia fight drugs and what's in store for them is the climax
Movie is all about acting and nothing else . Not up to expectations .
