Udta Punjab, starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh is a movie showing widespread drug abuse in the regions of Punjab. The movie has beautifully shown the repercussions of drug addiction by the four main characters in the roles of a drug addicted rockstar, a doctor, a migrant labourer and a policeman.
