Director Abhishek Chaubey, pen has been a problem for ‘Ishqiya’ and ‘Dedh Ishqiya‘, where the movie surrounds in the final scenes as it has no idea where to take its characters and how to conclude. but here co-writer Sudip Sharma handles it carefully. there are ‘filmy’ points a many however it doesnt loses focus of the actual matter.
This is true piece of acting of Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor as actors. Both Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor Khan does amazing at their roles . there are two characters from different society, hiding in from the world brought about by their addiction to ‘maal’. marvellous!
‘Udta Punjab’ is a extreme brave movie and it needs to be watched by all those who appreciate cinema. One which is not afraid by shitty works in the name of ‘popcorn entertainment’. One which firmly and proudly stands on its leg.
