Udta punjab is the movie which is really true story of Punjab. Guys you cannot believe that that It is a type crime drama film which is directed by Abhisek Chaudry. This type of movie is based on drug abuse in punjab.
I can only suggest you that the this movie is great I give this movie as a five star .now the decission is yours. We all know this movie was in news much before its release for various reasons. I watched it for the subject of the movie, how they have portrayed the condition of youth of Punjab struggling from drug addiction. There are four parallel characters in the movie and all have equally important roles. Shahid has played the character of a rock-star who is struggling with his music career due to drug addiction. Alia is a worker in a agricultural farm who falls into trap of local drug mafia. Diljit is a corrupt cop, whose younger brother is a drug addict.
Kareena is a doctor who is helping drug addicts to recover from these bad addictions and runs a private clinic. Diljit(after meetng Kareena) turns into a good cop and starts a secret operation to find out real master of this drug mafia. All characters cross each other in some way or other(except Shahid and Kareena). Overall it was a quite good experience. Diljit and Alia will steal your heart.
