Even though we went there at 8:30 in the night there was a waiting time for minimum 20 mins. We decided to skip the waiting time and have our food standing.
Hard pressed for time, I could only try two varieties of idlis today.
The plain idli and the butter pepper idli, both of them were equally good and the accompaniments did not let down the servings either.
It's very difficult to go wrong when the sambar is piping hot and unlimited servings are allowed.
They make idlis and many variants of it with a long list of sides and chatnis to be enjoyed. My favourite is Rawa Idlis with green and red coconut Chatni.
Also, try their Kakdi and Jackfruit Idlis with butter and rasam. Idli House is a pilgrim of Idli Lovers in different avatars.
Ambiance is okay and place is always crowded.
Anyone would be luck to get a seat in 30 minutes in the morning.
