SURGE PRICING IS AWFUL. Review on Uber Cabs

I am using this service  for last one year. I would say it is very convenient to hire an uber and the processs is very easy. I have  experienced good and bad with uber. Lets talk about the good side of this service. It's very easy to book a taxi, one will get an a.c taxi and also most of the time driver's behavior is appropriate because of the rating system. I live in Kolkata and it has it's own yellow taxis but people of this city is frustrated because of their random refusal. In my last one year with uber I didn't face any refusal which is a plus point of uber. But uber is not all good they have some evil practice like surge pricing which is a pain in the back. Still I do not understand how they increase their fare price 3 times or 4 times of the original fare. It happens in the office hour everyday. Even I saw that there was plenty of uber cars but they still increase their price randomly. This is a huge negative side of uber cabs. Another thing is that the drivers sometimes are very rude and not helpful. For instance I want to share one of my uber story. One day at evening I took an uber for my home, everything was going well but things changed quickly when the driver stopped the car while I was 300 m away from my home, I requested him him to change the destination but he rudely refused my proposal. I know that drivers can change the destination if the rider request him about it but that day I felt very bad. Its not that all the time I get this kind of driver but uber should have train their partner drivers to behave properly with the customer. Because of surge price and bad drivers I can not give a good marks to this cab services. The idea abut this service is very unique where this app is helping riders and drivers to meet. Refusal rate is almost zero, but there are plenty of place where uber need to look after especially the security of riders and drivers. We are getting many news where either of them is creating nuisance against the other. So all in all it is a good service but serious improvement is needed. I think in future this kind of services will flourish.
