I have reserved a ride in Kolkata a couple of days back. All Uber drivers in the city maintain the same thought process like the regular yellow taxi drivers- rude and ignore to listen to riders request. Similarly our driver was no different. He took a more crowded street rather than going through the main road even instead of several request. He didn’t even bothered to open google maps. Uber never train their drivers nor they control them. When I raised this concern to Uber customer care support, they copy paste the same reply, “ thanks for sharing your feedback”. They are not repented nor they show any token of gratitude by any compensation. This keep repeating and Uber customer care providers are incapable of resolving this. Even then Uber India don’t replace them. They keep harassing riders. One another note, they give “ miss call”, where the ring never last even more than 1 sec, and state in the reply that they tried to contact us. Whaaaatttttt.. miss call and that is how you claim to contact us. I am tired of these mean games and do not expect this from a established organization. Uber headquarter need to restructure the Indian customer care instead of simply ignoring the fact that this is handled by Indian representatives. Now Uber stopped replying to my request as they don’t have any solution nor they can provide any satisfactory reply. Such incapable customer care service providers run the show. Avoid Uber in India.
