I belong to Guwahati city(assam). And I have seen that uber has taken the market of ride and it has been successful over other rides like ola, taxi for sure, prime cab.
The main feature is that it has drastically reduces his fare to Rs 5 per kilometre and because of it all the passengers are now sifting to uber cab regardless of other cab.
And second thing is that uber has given free rides worth Rs 250 to passenger for referring to other passenger, so because of it uber has become so successful in my city.so as a whole, uber has become favorite among passengers to travel.
