Uber Surge Pricing : Most Annoying. Review on Uber Cabs

Uber is not perfect for booking cabs due to the following reasons:

• Surge Pricing: Surge pricing is the very annoying element in booking cabs through Uber. Suppose you are booking a cab and you are asked to apply the 1.7 times the original rate and you are in hurry, you would have to apply it in emergency, you don't have the other option. According to the company, they said we have to apply the surge pricing in the peak hours due to less availability but it is wrong.

My true experience: I was booking a cab in Delhi in the day time through Uber. But what I got, I was asked to apply for surge pricing even though there were many cabs available in that area( as shown in the app) and according to me daytime is not the peak hours.

• Drivers don't know the way: If you book a cab, you would at least want that the driver know the area or region. You would not want to tell them the ways so that you could sit freely or relaxed in the car. For driving cabs, drivers should have known the ways of the area or region.

My true experience: I booked cab through Uber in Delhi two times. I am not Delhi resident so I know nothing Delhi region. But the drivers too don't have experience of the Delhi, they don't know nothing about Delhi region. But thanks to the GPS, I followed the GPS, told the ways to driver and reached the destination. But truth be told, I couldn't sit relaxed in the car for a minute. So it was the totally bad experience.

• No option for ride later: You can not book a cab through Uber for determined later timing. If you want to ride through Uber, you have to book the cab the time you want to go.
