This is written because I had no way to contact Uber about the issue. I had to leave for the airport around 11:30 pm and being an unaccompanied lady I was a bit apprehensive.
When I booked the auto the driver arrived and helped me with thee luggage and he was trying to cover with the rain protection screen but I told him not to. I should have checked the app but I was so tense because he was trying to go another longer route and I was telling him not to as the straight way is the shortest. He said we were on surveillance etc. and after that he was deliberately slow though I didn't comment as I didn't want to get into an argument at the late hour. Thankfully I had set off with time to spare and after reaching I paid him the amount(He obviously could not show me the screen amount. I realized the ride had not been registered late. While checking in I was harrassed by around 25 calls with no talking only a grunt and it showed as Uber user ID. Finally an Uber driver called and said he is near my society gate then I told him I already reached the airport.
(I advise everyone to take a screenshot of the drivers details) Since there was no OTP(I am still unsure if Uber has an OTP or not because I never get one.
I am unable to complain to Uber as they have no email or contact number and we can only complain about specific rides. Now recently when I tried using the app I didn't get any ride and I am wondering if they have added a low star rating for me as a passenger due to this uncalled for incident. How can I explain to Uber that the driver hadn't registered my ride. Even others have faced this experience.
