So recently this Browser got banned by Google and it is not available on playstore anymore. I think it should give you an idea of how bad this browser is.
It had been making use of malicious means to gain popularity and downloads. Like when you download something from Chrome browser lets say a music, you'll be automatically redirected to the Play Store link of the UC Browser. That's what happens and for the same reason this browser has been banned for 30 days.
I have used for some time and I was honestly disappointed. It can support only upto 10 tabs which is not even close to Google chrome. The way you scroll Through tabs makes you feel like you are using some Chinese phone. Like xiaomi MI. I hate that.
Quite often I am asked to set UC Browser as my default web browser which is irritating. Moreover it will also insist you to enable the u c news and once you do that, it will start bombarding news on to notification bar of your phone.
The worst thing is that most of these news are not even relevant to you. Most of these are either Movie stars gossips or adult content.
So far, the webpage loading times seem to be a bit faster than google chrome but it lacks versatility. It cannot be used to save webpages in pdf format, play videos with browser minimized, or to open mutiple tabs at once.
Sometimes, it would have problems downloading a file, it will get stuck at 98% . Downloading videos through sites requires you to type their name manually, else it will download with a randon name. If you set the location to The Micro SD card it will warn you that your data will be deleted?
Owing to these problems, I don't use this browser anymore.
