US PIZZA-J P Nagar "HORRID EXPERIENCE". Review on U.S. Pizza, CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore

I am forced to write this review owing to the extremely inappropriate behaviour on part of the employees, management and owner of particularly US Pizza branch at JP Nagar(J P Nagar#52, C/o HPCL Petrol Pump, 15th Cross, Saraki Village, J P Nagar, 2nd Phase Bangalore, Karnataka) and to save all of you all there from experiencing the same torture, embarrassment, humiliation and insult.We had gone to this place for celebrating my sisters birthday since she insisted on having pizza's and since our experience from the same(US PIZZA) has been much delightful earlier on at the "Trichur outlet" in Kerala, and also they have a superb buffet that offers unlimited Pizza, Garlic Bread, Soup and Salad's and a brownie with ice cream priced economically at rs.170 for veg and rs.190  for non veg, inclusive of taxes.On arriving at US Pizza outlet at JP Nagar and on enquiry, we realized that the prices had been hiked to 199.rs for veg and 224.rs for non veg(no issues) and we ordered 3 buffets and sat at the table.It is then that they informed  us that they are not offering soups n salads and brownies(the earlier outlet had a wonderful salad bar itself with excellent selection and a great ambience), we wanted to leave but anyway we stayed on.The tables were dusty and unkempt and only on asking did the waiter clean it up

.The Ac was switched off even though there was power and the place had no fans, and on asking they said they would switch it on and never bothered to.Then they gave us a menu asking us to restrict our selection only from the first three pizza's on the menu(which was not the case at the Trichur Outlet).Each of us ordered a different pizza in medium size, on which the waiter told us we could only pick two and we argued back to him that we are three different people with different choices paying separately for each of the buffet(it is only fair if he said that one individual cannot order more than two types of Pizza's).That being dealt with, we asked the waiter to get us the garlic bread and after a length wait, we got the garlic breads(without cheese) literally shoved at the table and on examing them with my eyes and nose knew already that it was a poor excuse for a garlic bread, and on tasting it my mouth confirmed it.The garlic bread was stale, had no garlic butter but instead had some weird tasting oil brushed on(not olive..ma palettes are quite strong)with absolutely no garlicky taste, in short it was some dried rusk like thing.Our pizzas arrived after a good long wait(yes..we are very patient people)looking almost as unappetizing as the garlic bread.The pizza's had cheese very sparingly, the sauce used I assume was not even pizza sauce(prolly some tomato ketchup, because it didnt have the signature pizza sauce flavor..no oregano, no nothing) .The pizza's were of extremely poor quality, tasted a bit of oil..the mushroom riot did not have any mushrooms..oh wait!that dried up card board looking thing at the end of one of the slices must have been it.So, that is with the quality of the food.

Next, we venture onto the quality of service.Since, most of the pizzas we ordered wear a failure..we decided to get another pizza(vegetarian byte) which was the only bearable of the three.On asking for this pizza, the waiter almost flared up at us saying you have to finish off all the earlier pizza's ordered to get the next one(but mind you..the pizzas were horrible and we were trying really hard to finish it off..and had just two slices left).So, we got extremely annoyed at his impolite and rude way of speaking and finished off the slices to get back at him and asked him for the new one.After around 20 minutes, vegetarian byte(regular) was produced at our table, which had the tiniest slices ever(prolly they have custome made pans for their buffet pizza's..lol)..which vanished in minutes.And we mustered our courage and dared to ask him to bring us one more, on which the waiter goes in and complains(it was a semi open kitchen..we can see into the kitchen and hear everything going on there..at this I would like to recite another incident that took place in the kitchen earlier on which was the franchisee owner's kid-15 year old ninny, having this huge fight that was extremely uncouth and loud and we were surprised that such a thing was happening when we were sitting around).After a minute, the waiter and the kid comes out marching at us, and the kid very impolitely say's or rather orders us in a loud tone saying(even my dad hasnt spoken so sternly to me in my 30 years of life) "you must finish the crust too"(we just had 2 or 3 crusts remaining in all..which we had left out cause of the yucky oily taste and burnt edges), at which we got extremely annoyed and angry and got into an argument only to teach him about customer rights and respecting your customer's.His attitude was such that he would rough us up if we would not finish the crust, and the waiter had to hold him back.To end this torture we brought upon ourselves on a happy day, we asked for the bill immediately, paid and left.And today(the incident happened yesterday), on checking the US Pizza website..we realized we were cheated even on the rates, the original being 170.rs and 190.rs for veg and non veg respectively(lunch time).

SO, KINDLY AVOID VISIT'S TO THIS PARTICULAR OUTLET(J P Nagar#52, C/o HPCL Petrol Pump, 15th Cross, Saraki Village, J P Nagar, 2nd Phase Bangalore, Karnataka) ON YOUR SPECIAL DAY OR ANY OTHER DAY FOR THAT MATTER AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM SUCH A BITTER/TORMENTING/ABUSIVE EXPERIENCE(And might I add, this review is only for the particular branch in JP Nagar-II Phase
