You Know Something,You are my Soulmate. Review on U Me aur Hum

I know it’s too late to write this review but after watching it second time I thought to express my feeling and views about this movie.

This movie was special for two reasons:

i)Directorial debut of Ajay Devgan.

ii)After Comeback this was Kajol’s second movie.

The theme of the movie is ‘What happens if u fall in love with someone in a journey and that journey makes the most important stage of your life’.

Plot: Ajay and Kajol met on Cruise and ajay found true love in Kajol. At the end of the Cruise journey which was full of ups and down, they decided to get married. Their marriage life affected with one Storm and they faced it together and manage to live happily for 25Years and on.

Excellent Presentation with a good light hearted story line. This movie is combination of emotional storyline, incredible acting and some fine tracks. In TZP, Aamir exposed one serious issue and concern about Kids, same way Ajay did in U ME AUR HUM. U ME AUR HUM shows the bonding between the husband-wife, friends.what could happen to anybody when he or she comes to know that his or her partner has one disease which is incurable.

Ajay did justice with the story and he portrayed the story and character perfectly. The situation becomes more critical when Ajay comes to know that Kajol is suffering from Alzheimers, a disease which is incurable. It becomes worse when he heard about his kid, it was very tough for him to react.

Direction: Despite the fact that first half has some flaws, I will give full marks to Ajay.It was not an easy job because the story needs proper synchronization and proper flow. Complete balance of emotions, comedy and love. The way he started the movie by narrating the entire story to his wife Kajol.Ajay reserves the best for the concluding reels,so that viewer can get the answers in the end.

Performance: Well if a story and flow is good then good performance will come automatically. All the supporting characters did good work. Never felt like any character was useless character.

I will love to talk about Ajay and Kajol’s Performance.

Ajay Devegan : Great Work as an artist . Emotions, flow everything was perfect. In first half he played the character of lover and in second half loving and caring husband. A perfect balance between both the characters. Its shows his Versatility and Intensive Performance.

Kajol: What to say about her..I am running out of words. If anyone will talk about ‘U ME AUR HUM’ then he or she will remember Ajay for his best direction and Kajol for her intellectual, impressive and her hitting performance. She proved again that she has potential and she is a perfect actress. I always admire her natural beauty and intensive performance. In one line I can say that her performance is one of the key aspects for the success of this movie.She played her role marvellously.

Music: Good Music by Vishal Bhardwaj. Lyrics are not bad and really go well with the melodies. Apart from this I was impressed with Cinematography. Nice visualisation of sea and the cruise. Not a single scene where you can found some issue with camera work.

Good and Meaningful dialogues. Dialogue delivery and flow of the scenes are excellent. Nothing meaningless and touch the core of your heart.

Best Scenes:

i)Salsa Dance.

ii)Visualisation while reading the Kajol’s Diary ‘book of possibilities’.

iii)The scene of the baby in the bathtub (which makes me breathless.)

iv)At the End when Kajol told Ajay about his bonus day.

Flaws:

i)Bit slowly in second half.

ii)Climax Scenes could have more emotions.

All in all a good movie to watch with your loved ones or your love. All these are my views and concern. Hope you will like it.
