Our Wedding ceremonies are very traditional and that what is shown regularly in the Indian movies. There are many songs in the movies which came hit this list what I have done here is that I tried to collect the best of the best songs. Its my collections see how far you people like this list.
1. Babul Ki Duaain Lati Ja. The song is sung by Mohammad Rafi. Many people tried after him to sing the song but till date no one is able to produce the quality Rafi produced in this song. A very special Vidaai song and if I am not mistaken in every(private) wedding movie this song is dubbed. The expressions the delivery is superb. One of the best songs by Rafi Sahab and one of the best Wedding songs.
2. Assan Hun Turr Jana Aay Din reh Gaey Thoday. Lata Mangeshker sung the song and Laxmikant Pyarelal composes the music. Another very best of the songs related to wedding events. It?s a Punjabi-Hindi mix song but applause for Lata gi that how beautifully she sung the song is commendable. The song is so good that other than wedding occasion one would love to listen the song. The lyrics of the song talks about the girl to be married in few a days and she had to leave her parents. The music is very good also and it is also a simple but very good wedding song.
3. Koi Dekh Raha Chup Chup Ke. Agosh the music composer for this song in the movie ZOR and sung by Kavita Udit & Chorus. The very special music and the controlled tempo are very good. A good dandia track and with some good lyrics which tend to a question.the very well picturized song in the movie as well which can also become the inspiration to dance in the wedding of your beloved relative.
4. Mere Jathoon Main No No Chodian hain. CHANDNI is the movie name. the song sung by Lata gi and music by Shiv-Hari with lyrics by Anand Bakshi gi. A dancing track with some very excellent rhythm and the singing is more than superb. The Ghoongroo and Dholak with the claps make the song worth listening. I remember that the song was become a craze when it was released. Till now it is one of my favorite songs in this category.
5. Mera Pagal Giya Na Manay. SAPNAE SAAJAN KE was the movie and the song was sung by Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik. Nadeem-Shravan composed the music and as usual Sameer was the lyricist. The prompt use of Shehnai and Dandia sticks is wonderful in the song. The pure group dancing number and the song is not only a wedding number but it is also one of the favorite tracks in the Nawratri and to Play Garba. The song is tuneful and fast always been favorite for using in weddings.
6. Mehndi Laganay Ki Raat. This song is from the movie AADMI KHILONA HAI. Music by Nadeem-Shravan lyrics by Sameer and sung by Kumar Sanu & Sadhana Sargam. This is another song which is used in every single of the Mehndi function and in the wedding movie as well. the song is quite well sung and the use of Dholuk makes it more respectful song in the wedding songs. The lyrics are totally happiness joy and singing about the Mehndi Evening. Good track.
7. Hamari Galiya Hoke Aana. Talking all about the wedding and trendy songs lets go to a traditional song composed for a recent released movie RAINCOAT. The wonderful song with the traditional chit-chat in the song. The Traditional Dholuk is used superbly. One of the wonderful song I have listened in the recent times falling in this category.
8. Shaadi Mubarak Bole Shehnai Badhai Badhai. The song is sung by Sadhana Sargam & Alka Yagnik. Laxmikant Pyarelal composed the music. The song has the lyrics about prays for the wedding couple and wishing them happiness in the life. a very well composed and sung song pure wedding song.
9. Tere Galoon Ki Chandni Jo Dekhay. Udit Narayan sung the song with his sweet voice with company of Alka Yagnik and composed by Jatin-Lalit and lyrics by Sameer. The music is energetic and melodious. the Punjabi touch in the song is fabulous and that makes the song more special.
10. Chale Hain Barati Ban Thun Ke. JIGARWALA is the movie and the song is sung by Mohammad Aziz with music by Nadeem-Shravan. A pure wedding number with the lyrics talks about the people included in the wedding ceremony and the glory with which the?Baraat? is moving toward the bride?s house. The usual?Band Baja? makes the song closer to the real wedding and so to the heart of listener.
11. Yeh Galiyan Yeh Chobara. Lata gi sung the song with the composition by Laxmikant Pyarelal it is also an extraordinary song. The song is talking to the bride who will soon the leave her parents and join a new family. The song is sung by Lata gi terrifically that there is some urge in the song to listen it more and more.
12. Dulhan Hum Lay Jain Gay. Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik sung the song with some special chorus work and good music by Himesh Reshammiya. The song has lyrics by Sudharkar Sharma and they are meaningful as well as youthful. The lyrics express the feelings of the guy who is saying to his bride that he will come soon and marry her. A good song with some good special affect by the chorus in the background.
13. Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna. DILWALE DULHANIYAN LAY JAIN GAY is the movie. The song is sung by Lata gi & Udit and the music is by Jatin-Lalit. A Mehndi song with lyrics by Anand Bakshi gi. The one of the most decent songs of this category. The song is very well composed and beautifully sung by both the singers. A very good Mehndi song.
14. Babul Ka Ghar Chod Ke. Not many people remember the song but in fact the song is very well sung and composed. It is from the movie SAINIK and sung by Alka & Kumar Sanu with the music of Nadeem-Shravan. The song is a typical Vidaai song. There is no match to the earlier song by Rafi Sahab, this song is also a well one and decent track with some soulful music and Lyrics which are given by Sameer. The lyrics goes like this:

15. Lay Jain Gay Lay Gain Gay. Who can forget this song sung by Kishore da. Very good lyrics in song and the singing is more than excellent. The song was picturized in some other context. The lyrics goes like this

16. Utha Lay Jaoon Ga Tughe Main Doli Main. This song in the same pattern as the above one. The song this time sung by Kumar Sanu & Anuradha Paudwal. Music composed by Nadeem-Shravan and Lyrics by Sameer. The song is all about the chit-chat between guy and girl with the guy saying he will take the girl to his home and her fiends keep watching her going with him. The music is good wedding song.
17. Dhoom Machi Hai Dhoom. Form the movie ANSH. Music by Nadeem-Shravan Lyrics by Sameer and sung by Udit Narayan, Sapna Mukhergi & Chorus. A low cast movie but with some very good music and I picked this song as the wedding song as it is a high beat dancing track. The special Shehnai work time to time is excellent. The song deseve to be in this list and worth listening.
18. Maahi Ve from the movie KAL HO NA HO. A very beautiful song with song very special beats and Dhol usage. The song is composed by Shankar Ehsan Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhter and sung by group of many group of great singers, we can also call is a combo of singers, Udit, Sonu Nigam, Shanker Mahalaxmi and Chorus. This is a very good dancing
