I remember I fell in RD’s love at very young age i.e. at the age of 5 or 6.
One thing is sure that he was an artist ahead of the time and it is very old custom in India that the people know the real value of one after one’s death .
(That is the reason why most of the current remixes are old Rd hits)
Now here in my list u will get only popular songs of RD.
Though I heartily love gems like Tere bina jiya jaye na(Ghar) and O maazi re(Kinara) they and many others are not included in the list !!
It is because I have selected the songs which take me to down memory lane.They give me the feel of nostalgia of my childhood.And everybody will agree that childhood memories are very close to everybody’s heart. I have cherished these songs over the years.

This and the other songs from this same movie have a great orchestration.

I like the rhythm and the fun also.
16 Ek din bik jayega (Dharam karam)
Is not this a pleasant song?
15 Aisa sama na hota (Zameen aasman)
Lata has sung nicely this high pitch romantic song
14 Rimzim gire (Kishor-Manzil)
A nice semi classical song
13 Sawan ke zoole pade (Jurmana)
I like the simplicity and the feeling of long wait for beloved one .
12 Ye ladka hai alla (Hum kisise.)
A perfect song to flirt.Asha is evergreen.
11 O mere sona re (Tisri manzil)
Again Asha.It is so youthful!
10 Aati rahengi (Kasme vade)
I like the optimism in this song.
09 Mere Naina (Kishor- Mehbooba)
A semi classical well sung by Kishor.
08 Is modse ( Aandhi)
Always enjoyable
07 Hai Agar dushman (humkisise.)
I think think this is the very first kawwali by RD.I enjoy the starting piece.

Most romantic song

I like the rhythm and the slight folk flavour.

One more from Aandhi.It simply cheers me wherever I am

I like the pace of this song.RD has used bagpiper in this song and that lovely la lalala la lalala by asha.

Masterpiece!! again from aandhi.This is the perfect answer for the criticizers who says RD can give only western type and peppy songs.

My most favorit. that beautiful glass effect ! and Asha’s sweeeeetness!
In the older age I came to know that this song is inspired from a western one. I have not yet got chance to listen the original.
Can anyone tell me whether ‘Kya yehi pyar hai’(Rocky) is also inspired from any other song?
