A list of 10 of my favourite sentimental songs.

1.Lady in Red – Chrid De Burgh

You must've herd this song several times, but this time try to catch the'I love you' that he whispers as the song ends. It is very romantic.

2.My heart will go on – Celine deon

This love theme from the film Titanic made way into people's heart instantly just like the film. And will stay there forever.

3.I'll make love to you – Boyz II Men

'Close your eyes, make a wish ……' surely fulfilled the wish of the group to win awards. They won 2 grammy awards best album and best performance by a group with this vocal.

4.Cherish – Kool & the Gang

The sea has always been an imperative part of romance and love. And this song talks about taking a walk by the sea – one of the many romantic things in the'most romantic things to do' list.

5.Hero – Mariah Carey

In 1993, Mariah Carey scaled new heights with the release of her record-breaking album which sold more than 24 million copies worldwide which included the single Hero. It also stands apart as one of her finest songs till date.

6.How deep is your love – Bee Gees

A song that has been remixed several times. Originally it was also used as part of soundtrack for the film Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta way back in 1975.

7.I got you babe – Cher

This song was the only summer hit of the year 1965. and almost 4 decades later, people still remember this song for its notion of innocent love. In fact this was apparently the last song of the duo Sonny & Cher together.

8.It takes two – Marvin Gaye & Kim Weston

A 1961 hit number. It put into practice the now commonly used phrase; It takes two!

9.Nothing's gonna change my love for you – Glenn Medeiros

This song went gold in every country it was released. Quite a record! Glenn sang this song at the age of 15 after he won the grand prize at a local high school talent contest.

10.Save the best for the last – Vanessa Williams

Vanessa Williams made history thrice. First, in 1983, when she became the first African-American to be chosen Miss America. Then in 1984, when she was forced to give up her crown after Penthouse published nude photos of her. And for the third time with her song … Save the best for the last.
