- abhi na jao chhod kar- Mohd. rafi & Lata M.the song has in itself, the desperation of a person who wants to be with his lady forever and urges her not to go.

And the lady's mixed emotions who wants to stay, but also is afraid of the social boundness.and then to mix up these two feeling she says:

The urge, the desperation that a person feels in him self while being in love, is depicted beautifully in this song. the complete surrender of oneself to Love, is described so beautifully that any body, who has ever felt this feeling, gets attached to it very easily.

People have their individual views about who sang it better, But it is the lyrics that gives the edge to this song. Dam bhar jo udhar muh fere- Mukesh and lata.this duo is my all time fav. I luv to hear them day and night.The magic that this Rarest combination of Raj kapur, Narghis, Mukesh and Shankar-Jaikishan created in 60s, is still alive with their beautiful songs.
sunayi deti hai jiski dhadkan-(Mohd. Aziz and Lata) Lyrics are out of this world. awesome imagination. Love has a power in itself that can make a heart Beat for two individuals. in other words, love has the power two vanish out the distances b/w two and evolves them as a single identity. Moreover, the tide of emotions that the words of this song rides carries its listeners with it also.
Aao Na( from KYO HO GAYANA)it always feel like u r flying high and high listening to this song.
Jara Jara behekta hai(from RHTDM) One of the most sensual and sensational songs ever made in hindi. Whole sensual ness is in that tipsy voice quality. and the feel that she has given to it is just too irresistable.
Baahon ke darmiyaan- hariharan and alkathis song proves that lyrics is not the only way to express feelings. They can be shown by eyes, they can be shown by the music too, as is done by Ismail darbar. Hats off to him.
Lag ja gale ke fir ye hasin raat ho na ho- LataDon’t hav anything else to say about this song. only that it gets my eyes moist everytime I play it. so i’ve personally banned myself of hearing this one.
Jindagi bhar nahi bhulegi- Mohd Rafi.I hav a personal connection to this one as I also had a very mesmerising barsaat ka DIN( not raat) wid the one who was and always will be the most envied person on earth for me.
12.TERE LIYE- roop kr. rathod and Lata Mthe song expresses the extreme level of sacrifice that somebody can do for love, the sacrifice that veer did for zaara and zaara for veer. love at its extreme break of emotions.

- tu jaha jaha rahega, mera saaya saath hoga- LataM once again It is one of the fav for me coz it gives me a feel that she is still wid me, though we never had a MATERIAL RELATION. feels pretty much intimate to me.
15.hum tumhe chahte hain aise-(don knw who sung it)sorry for I don remember the name of the singer, but it hardly matters for this song is so popular that every body knows bout it.
16. Kuch is tarah. By ATIF ASLAM This song is special for every aashiq not only because of its lyrics, but also because of its music, especially the way the PIANO is used in this song. it mesmerizes a lot. Sung & Composed by AATIF, BUT one can’t take away the credit from the lyricists also.

By Dr. Palash SenThis one, I can say is the most fav romantic song of mine…Sung by Dr. Palash, composed by his famous band- Euphoria, one of my favs…Palash, in his full flow, really expresses the emotions of this song… Lyrics of this song are even more amazing than the singer… but have to say, Palash has sung it very honestly…
Apne hothon par sajana chaahata hu…. By JAGJIT SINGH The Ghazal Maestro needs no introduction and praise to describe his Geniu.Once again, a beautiful compo with a combination of guitar and Indian classical instruments like santoor…And the lyrics have to be awesome when it is Jaggu Bhai.
Socha Na tha…. Sadhana Sargam, Sandesh ShandilyaNow this one might feel to be a surprise to many of you. But I feel it’s amazing. Beautifully composed by Sandesh himself. Sadhna sargam is brilliant as always.
Maula mere maula…Roop Kr. RathodAnd what a song to end the review with.Roop Kr. Rathod shows his class when it comes to romantic songs…There is something special in his voice that attracts me…The innocent way of describing the beauty of a woman makes it one of the most romantic songs according to me. it’s amazing how somebody thanks the God for creating his woman.
