1.Pehla Nasha(movie:JJWS)
First love, that's always so very special and if your first love turns out to be your only love, that's even special. This song beautifully describes the various wonderful feelings one experiences for the first time and that too along with such a beautiful melody. Naturally the songs landed up on the top spot.
2.Bolo Na(singer:Sona)
This song from her debut album is absolutely fantastic. In case you have had some problem with your special one, this is just the song that the girls/ladies should play for him, so as to ask him
"Bolo na kya hua?". Some people may say that Sona's voice is not good, but the way she sings the song covers that up and by the time the song is over you wanna hear it once again.
3.Zara zara(movie:RHTDM)
You surely want your love to be there with you always and never go away from you, but rather come even closer.
4.Tum se hi(movie:Jab We Met)
The best part about this song is the female chorus part and the video of the song is equally good. It describes how much your special one means to you. When you meet your love, your day starts with that person and ends too with that person. You just can't stop thinking about them.
5.Deewana tera(singer:Sonu Nigam)
Sonu Nigam simply rocks! I totally love his voice. The way he sings "Deewana tera, tujhe hi pukare, yeh marzi teri, tu aaye na aaye", nobody will actually stop to think twice but will listen to that pukar and'koi bhi aa jayega'. Mein to definitely aa jati.
6.Muhabbat ho na jaye(movie:Kasoor)
You meet someone and then your heart starts fluttering. You feel so strange, so great and you are scared that you may fall in love. You don't want to but you can't even resist. Temptations after all the too good to resist.
7.Maula mere Maula(movie:Anwar)
An absolutely melodious track where more emphasis has been given to the singer's voice and background music doesn't cover it up. Whenever I hear this song, I get completely lost in its melody.
8.Dooba dooba rehta hun(singer(band):Silk Route)
This song from the first album of Silk Route was an instant success but unfortunately the later songs that followed could live upto the expectations of its fans. Thus they came and they went but this romantic track of theirs still continues to charm many hearts and will keep on doing so. Its video too was amazing and so romantic. Right in the middle of a lake, sitting on top of a partially submerged car they sat playing guitars and flute. That was so very lovely.
9.Tere Bin(singer:Rabbi Shergil)
I dont really understand the lyrics of the song totally but still I find this song to be really great. Rabbi Shergill is actually the best. His "Bulla ki jana" was absolutely superb. Even this romantic track of his is really nice.
10.Woh Ladki Hai Kahan(movie:DCH)
The search for the one true love- sometimes you are lucky and find that person really jaldi but sometimes it can take ages. This song describes just this. Here you find Saif in search of his true love and he also describes the qualities that he expects to find in that special person. A truly marvellous song. It makes me feel so happy!.
11.Salam-e-ishq(singer:Adnan Sami, movie:same name as song)
Now this one is a happy romantic song!. It doesnt make you cry, or feel pain, or makes you go deep down inside yourself. It just simply makes you happy! That is why I love this song so much and it wonderfully describes what happens to a person when he/she falls in love- shirt ke buttons band karna bhul jana, dhadkan ke suron ka bajna- its beautiful!
12.Kahin to(movie:Jane Tu.)
Whenever I hear this song the first thing that comes to my mind are heaven, angels and all white things, clouds etc. It kind of makes me imagine paradise, heaven, a perfect place. This song's got a heavenly touch about it. AR Rahman sure has done a great job here.
13.Kuch To Hua Hai(movie:KHNH)
This is another one of the'happy songs'. It makes you feel so great and alive. "Everythings new, different", "Red?Well it will look nice on me, pack this please", "Wow, these red roses smell so great", "I feel so happy" If these are the symptoms that you have, you dont need to go to any doc, because none of them have a cure. You are actually in LOVE!
14.Jane Tu Mera Kya Hai(Aditi)(movie:Jane Tu.)
This might come as a surprise to many but I really find this song very romantic. What makes this song really special is that here the girl realizes that her so called friend may actually be something more than that. She realizes how much she indeed loves him and repents why she couldnt understand before.
15.Soniyo(movie:Razz-the mystery continues)
I need you. I love you. This is the whole song in two sentences. I want you to be by my side in this life's journey, always be close to me and never leave me alone no matter what happens. The best part of this song is the sound of the birds in the background. It sounds so divine!

A naughty song- that is the best way to describe this song. Whenever I hear this song, I too kind of get into the naughty mood. But its really lovely to be naughty and really what's love without a little bit of naughtiness to add spice to it.
18.Dekho Na(movie:Fanaa)
The sound of the rains of the background is so sweet, so musical. Bollywood songs, bollywood movies all find rain to be a symbol of romanticism. Its tryst with bollywood has been since times immemorial. Its a really lovely song.
19.Tu Hi Meri Shab(movie:Gangster)
Pritam has weaved magic into this song. This song is'magical'. Thats all I can say about this song.
20.Kuch Khaas Hai(movie:Fashion)
This song is so full of passion that you can almost feel the heat. You get devoured by the song as it continues to play. These 20 songs are just my personal favourite and have nothing to do with people's demand. Some of you may like my selection, some may not, all the same, they will remain my top 20 until some more romantic tracks are released
