Well this is my take on twenty best hindi love songs . not in any particular order .these are the songs that make my day every time I listen to them.

1. Baahon ke darmiyaan(Khamoshi) This song is so well written and the melody just lingers in your mind once you've heard it. also a very sensual song

Wow! Doesnt this song remind you of your first crush? such simple lyrics but this song perfectly paints the picture of innocent love

3.Tujhe dekha to yeh(Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge)

Everyone remembers this song. well the movie definitely takes the trophy away for the longest running flick . but the song itself is probably one of the most loved songs.

1. Hamein jabse mohabbat( Border)

This is one of the lesser known melodies.the lyrics are so exquisite. and the flow of the song just gets to you. plus the vocals are so heart wrenching . kudos to sonu n and alka y for bringing this song to life

1. Zara zara( Rehna hai tere dil mein)

Ok so this isnt the perfect love song but this song is passionately sung. with a very unconventional singing voice bombay jayashri has brilliantly crooned both the hindi and tamil version

1. Dil ne yeh kaha hai(Dhadkan)

Again this song is one of those songs you wanna listen to over and over again. both the original and the faster version are amazing.

1. Taarein hai baaraati( Viraasat)

This song has amazing prelude and has been voiced by jaspinder narula( am not a big fan of hers) but is a sweet song

1. Chupke se(Saathiya)

Man! this song is like a breath of fresh air. with stunning lyrics by gulzar and remarkable vocals by sadhana sargam, this song is a great listen though the chorus in the song might be a let down

1. Jaadu hai tera hi( Ghulam)

Again a very sweet and lucid song. plus rani mukherji looks apt for this song . oozing innocent appeal.

1. Suraj hua maddham( Kabhi khushi kabhie gham)

A very sensual song . a very man-woman song as put by farah khan the choreographer. not a first/puppy love song at all. very passionate and beautiful locales in the picturisation . though we could have done without shahrukh's see through shirts.hehe

1. Tere bina(Ghar)

Sung by the veteran songstress. lata mangeshkar. beautifully penned by gulzar and the music maestro r.d. burman. its a very ethereal song

1. Aapki aankhon mein kuch(Ghar)

The beautiful 70's. again sung by lata m and kishore. very simple lyrics and a very hummable song. has been remade by some label which is also very nice to hear.

1. Ab to hai tumse( Abhimaan)

Well everyone remembers this movie with the lead pair player by real life couple amitabh & jaya. this song is soft and slow listen . lata m and s.d.burman working the magic.

1. Bheegi bheegi raaton mein( Ajnabi)

Old song by lata and kishore . was recently remade by leslie lewis. incredible song with a slight mischief .

1. Wada raha sanam( Khiladi)

sung by alkay and abhijeet . a very mellow.pleasant song.

1. Aaja piya( Baharon ke sapne)

Who hasnt heard this song? Old song again remade by instant karma recently . wich was again a smash hit. though i'd like to add a note that for such songs there is no need of unnecessary skin show.

1. Hum tumko(Garv)

ok so this is a recent song. agreed this may not be one of the best . but his song pops up in my head everytime I think about sending some sweet song lyrics to my guy. good lyrics

1. Tu, tu hai wohi( Yeh wada raha)

An unbelievably great song with amazing melody. recently remixed badly killing the original ingenious harmony. brilliantly sung by asha and kishore. this songs just lifts one up from a lousy mood.

1. Aate jaate( Maine pyar kiya)

Exemplary lyrics put together with marvellous music by ram laxman teamed with vocal talents of s.p.balasubramanium and lata results in a unforgettable love song that this is. used during the opening credits of this movie this song epitomizes the depth of love . pehli nazar. halka sa asar.

20.Tumse milke( Parinda)

Suresh Wadkar and Asha Bhosle have voiced this song . with excellent music and equally mindblowing lyrics this song is a perfect dedication song. apt for impressing your sweetheart.

Is too small a number to put together the love songs of our cinema. love has been and will continue to be the running theme in our movies. with musicians, lyricists and innumerable voice talents in our country. veterans and the still undiscovered hindi cinema will continue to produce exquisite songs. that make our hearts go flutter.
