It is difficult to believe, that a man can be so ethically dead as to have no love for Music. But if such a dry person does exist, take a careful note of his life style & you will find he will never inspire any poets to celebrate him in their everlasting songs. He may be a man of high ranks or from a noble family but these great advantages will not save him from oblivion. I mean, it would be difficult for us to continue living in this world without any Music & Love songs. All kind of Music has its own plus points & weakness & in my opinion all the songs whether they are worthy of making in to top 5/10/20 or not, should be looked up with praise & wonder.

Ok, here goes….

!)(Everything I Do) I Do It For You:(Bryan Adams)

When I first heard this song I knew from the core of my heart that this is one song, which I’ll never ever get bored listening to. The haunting music coupled with romantic lyrics made it a big success. Mr. Adams originally sang this song for the film “Robin Hood the prince of thieves” & as soon as it was released, it captured everyone’s attention within a period of few weeks(Don’t remember whether the film fared well in the box-office or not)….

Lyrics: Look into my eyes - you will see/What you mean to me/Search your heart - search your soul/And when you find me there you'll search no more/Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for/You can't tell me it's not worth dyin' for/You know it's true/Everything I do - I do it for you…

@)Always: (Bon Jovi)

Now don’t tell me you didn’t hear this song till now! ‘Always’ sung by Jon Bon Jovi has loads of meaning & heartfelt love in every sentence. The music(especially the drums in the beginning) is very enchanting & it catches our attention very quickly. After this song was released Bon Jovi’s were compared with the likes of Bryan Adams, Richard Marx & Bruce Springsteen.

Lyrics: This Romeo is bleedin' /But you can't see his blood /It's nothin' but some feelings That this old dog kicked up/ It's been raining since you left me/Now I'm drowning in the flood You see I've always been a fighter/But without you I give up….

#) Against all Odds: (Phil Collins)

I just love this song as it shows loads of emotion & passion. Actually, it’s a love song for the broken hearted. WestLife along with Maria Carey sang the latest version of this wonderful song but I guess the original one sung by Phil Collins still rules the heart.

Lyrics: How can I just let you walk away, just let you leave without a trace/When I stand here taking every breath with you, ooh/You're the only one who really knew me at all……

$) Take my breath away: (Berlin)

How will you describe this song in one word?…. “Amazing” A great song from Berlin & yes I can say this song really took my breath away…

Lyrics: “Watching every motion/in my foolish lover’s game/On this endless ocean/finally lovers know no shame/Turning and returning /to some secret place inside/Watching in slow motion/as you turn around and say/Take my breath away/Take my breath away”

%)Right here waiting: (Richard Marx)

If there is anyone in this world who can directly be compared with Bryan Adams then that person has to be Richard Marx. ‘Right here waiting’ is an emotional song, which express the true feelings of a lover. Richard Marx has beautifully used piano & classical guitar….

Lyrics: Wherever you go/Whatever you do/I will be right here waiting for you/Whatever it takes Or how my heart breaks/I will be right here waiting for you….

^)She’s like the wind: (Patrick Swayze)

Patrick Swayze originally sang this song for the film Dirty Dancing. We cannot term this song as a “Love song” but there is something about this song, which makes me listen to it again & again.

Lyrics: She's like the wind through my tree She rides the night next to me/She leads me through moonlight/Only to burn me with the sun/She's taken my heart /But she doesn't know what she's done……

&)Here I am: (Air Supply)

This Air Supply classic will make in to anybody’s list of top 20 English songs. “Here I am” is one of the best proposal songs you’ll find to express your feeling to your loved one. If you haven’t heard this song till now then please buy a CD & listen to it straight away.

)I’d do anything for love:(Meatloaf)

This song is probably the greatest song by MeatLoaf. The song is around 5.25mins(Exactly), but these 5.25mins are great to ears & I wouldn’t mind hearing it again & again.

+) It must have been love:(Roxette)

Great song from a great film. Yup, Roxette originally sang this song for the film “Pretty Women”. Again a song, which is only for those who have lost faith in Love after failing to keep their relationship intact.

Great! Just written on 9 songs and have touched the max limit. I’m gonna continue the same review under the 20 Worst English songs, coz I know I’ll never be writing on that one . Plz jump to the next part of the review & do read it…
