Another review with an idiotic title.
Here are the 20 of my favourite songs.

# Bring Me to Life– Evanescence
Wake me up *… Sounds like your conversation with the alarm clock, doesn’t it? First heard this song in the gym, perfect song to play while you are exercizing. You get the adrenaline rush when you hear the “wake me up inside”.
# Smoke on Water– Deep Purple
I love the intro for this song. Simply mind blowing.
Smoke on water … fire in the sky
# Comfortably Numb– Pink Floyd
A “feel light headed” kind of song. Just listen to this song with your eyes closed and you get the *“ My hands felt just like two balloons …” *feeling. Yes, you don’t need to do drugs or alcohol to get that
feeling. Comfortably numb is enough.
# Wind of Change– Scorpions
Just listen to the wind of change, it blows straight, into the face of time. A beautiful song by Scorpions. I guess the video was shot at the Berlin wall, not sure about this. But one things sure, Wind of change rocks!
Take me …. To the magic of the moment
on a glory night… when the children of tomorrow share their dream.
with you and me
# Patience– Guns and Roses
One, two, one two three whistle .whistle . whistle
Wait a minute, is that GnR. Wow, they too can sing such beautiful songs. Patience is one of the most beautiful GnR songs along with *Sweet child of mine *and *November rain
# Ode to my Family– Cranberries
This is not my favourite Cranberries song, *Salvation *is my favourite.
I included this one in my list because the song is dedicated to family. A perfect song to show how much you care about your family and respect them for all the things they have done for you.
# Hotel California– Eagles
Welcome to the Hotel California …such a lovely place.such a lovely place
Hotel California, the song that made me learn to play guitar. I love the unplugged version more than the original one.
We are all just prisoners here …. *Yes, we all are.
# Nothing Else Matters– Metallica
This may sound amusing, but Nothing Else Matters is a love song. Maybe because of the words *Trust I seek and I find in you *.
People always seek trust and understanding from their loved ones, don’t they?
# Come as You are– Nirvana
This song was an anthem during the college days. Come as you are *, with shabby jeans, dirty T shirt and unkempt hair. Kurt Kobain was God and this song, the prayer. Singing this song, . err, prayer gave me a high. Specially the Memorieeeeeeeeeeee Yeahpart.
# Alive– Pearl Jam
Cannot explain why I chose this one over *Jeremy *. Maybe it’s the title of the song, *Alive *. Its great to be alive, inspite of having adulterated food, polluted air and gangsters roaming free.
I am still alive, Yeaaah
# God is great– Joan Osborne
What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us
Just a stranger on the bus
Trying to make his way home
Yeah, good question. God is really one of us. Just like you and me. Trying to make his way home(in a jam packed Virar local).
# Stairway to Heaven– Led Zepplin
I would not be needing one, I have got a first class ticket to HELL. A pretty slow song, but very addictive. This is the only Led Zep song I have heard. Good to listen on a long drive, but be careful or you will be on the freeway to . you know where.
# Lemon Tree– Fool’s Garden
The lazy persons favourite song. Just listening to this song makes one so lethargic. You just want to drop every thing you are doing and just sit back and relax. Lemon tree has that effect on you.
I’m sitting here in the boring room
It’s just another rainy Sunday afternoon
I’m wasting my time
I got nothing to do
I’m hanging around
I’m waiting for you
But nothing ever happens and I wonder
# One Hand in my Pocket– Alanis Morisette
A strong song with strong https://lyrics. For me this song is what every one does, day in and day out – Multitasking. You have got only two hands. If you have one of them in your pocket, the other one is gonna be overworked. My version of the song would be, *I have got one hand on the keyboard and the other one is holding a coffee cup or maybe showing a finger to the boss
# Blaze of Glory– Bon Jovi
Don’t know where I am going ….
Only I know where I’ve been
Song from some Western movie … donno the movie name. This is one of the best Bon Jovi songs.Live your life according to your terms, and go down in a blaze of glory.
# Walk of Life– Dire Straits
Another song that has a special place in my heart. I loved to dance to this song when I was a kid. I did the walk of life. A cool danceable song.
# Every breath you take– Police
It’s by Police I think or maybe by Sting.
The song tells us, Big Brother is watching! *Every breath you take, every move you make … I’ll be watching YOU
Hmmm. No one is safe.
# With or without you– U2
I can’t live …. With or without you.
And I cant sleep… without this song.
That’s my good night song. Just like kids have to listen to a story at bedtime, I have to listen to this one.
# I’d love you to want me– Lobo
This song seems to be the odd man out in this list. It’s a slow, mushy number compared to the others. This had to be in the list, it’s a special song for me. Imagine this, a slow steady drizzle, a long drive and the song playing in the car. Ahh… Purrfect!
# Dancing in the Dark– Bruce Springsteen
The Boss needs no introduction. Dancing in the Dark, a lovely song to dance to. I call it a miracle song. Coz I have seen a person with two left feet and two right hands, get up and dance to this one.

Fantastic journey wasn’t it?
