I am totally new in this site, but I am very glad to post my comment on my Rx100, 1994 model.yes friends as u all know it is a real hero. When I bought it last year for 8000 rs, it was a died one. No compression, no lights, poor mileage, no sound. Yes it was a shadow of real Rx100 but believe me friends. I trusted the reliability of yamaha. I given it to a reliable mechanic who is specialised in doing yamaha renovation.
He shaped my tank , closed the leaks, and completely dismantled the bike. That time I was not planning to completely rebuild it but after he changed the piston, and ported the cylinder. I realised that if I spent now that will be a lifelong investment. I changed my plan and asked him to do the complete necessary work which will help my bike looks better,
He painted it in scorpio red colour, with black engine and chain guard. Believe me friends after putting entire new parts including tyres, rims, indicators, new clutch, piston etc and painting. It cost me on lt 16000 rs which ultimately given me a new rx with stunning red colour with roaring black engine and with that ported engine(only exhost ported for maintaining the fuel efficiency)i clocked a max, speed of 122kms, and in decent driving I am still getting 35km/l.
So friends, who doesn't have an Rx, please go back to home and think whether to go 4 a under performing for stk or a ridiculous and mighty Rx100.
