Without frills let's go to the list right away. Ranked from best to lesser etc.

1) Yamaha RX100

Leader of the pack. Best bike ever on our Indian roads.

2) Pulsar 180 DTS-i

Somehow I preferred the looks of King Yam, otherwise this would have come #1.

3) Yamaha RXZ

4) Suzuki Shogun

5) Ind-Suzuki AX100

Not the TVS-Suzuki or the Max 100R. Just the legendary Ind-Suzuki of the 80's.

6) The legendary CBZ

Before Hero Honda killed it by bringing the CBZ*.

7) Hero Honda Splendor+

Of all bikes I have ridden, this is #1 in reliability. Disadvantage: No power/pickup.

8) The RD350

Ok, this deserves to be much higher, but this is a banned bike, like banned cricketers Shoaib Akthar and Mohd Asif.

9) Bajaj Discover DTS-i

Who cares about the gear-box! If you can ride it, do so! The design is nice.

10) The Winged Monster Bullet

Bullet gifted the Chennai traffic police with some white colour bullets. They had the front headlight mask similar to the Karizma. This was one awesome vehicle. Sad that the public could not use it.

11) Yezdi - the grey colour model

Just love that sound!

12) Kawasaki Bajaj KB100

Learnt riding on this one. Powerhouse.

13) Honda Eterno

Smooth.

Just because I like these doesn't mean they are the best / worst. Looks / power / reliability are what I'm going by. Don't care about mileage / tech specs. Also remembering the good old days when an entirely different set of bikes ruled the roads.
