The Master Story Teller Lord Jeffrey Archer gives us an another page turning entertainer with Twelve Red Herrings! The book is very Jeffrey Archer and a must read for all lovers of good, witty, English fiction.
The book is a collection of twelve short stories, each more thrilling and exciting than the other is. In his classic style, Archer has created lifelike characters and woven them with intelligent story plots that amuse you and leave you reminiscing about them long after you have finished the book. My favorite story from this collection is One Man’s Meat. It is one of the most brilliant and innovative piece of fiction that Archer or any other contemporary author has ever woven.
The book is one of Archer's finest and surpasses A Twist in the Tale and the other short story collections. The story plots are revealed right at the end and gives you a feeling of surprise mingled with excitement.
