This place used to be really good before Windflower took over. It used to be run by Nanu uncle who is part of the royal family from Rajastan married to the royal family of Mysore.
There used to be one person by the name Dorai who used to work here. I have come to know that he works in Bangalore now. This man had so much knowledge on the wildlife in Bandipur. He, along with Nanu uncle had reared a leopard(Baby) which has been introduced to the wild despite being raised in captivity. Great success story. We have had many memorable trips to this place earlier.
Now after the management changed things have started getting bad. Been there recently after a long gap and found the warmth of the staff(which was abundant in those days) missing now. Very sad to see a nice place to bad.
Rooms are good. Food ok. Service ok. Swimming pool is the attraction here as it is shaped in the form of an elephant foot print. But it needs to be cleaned.
