The Story of Life through the eyes of a girl . Review on Tumhari Disha

Tumhari Disha is a story of a simple girl Disha, who sacrifices her happiness and joy for the sake of her family. The story revolves around Disha, who is the daughter of (Kanwaljeet) and (Zarina).Her happiness lies in the happiness of her family. The first few episodes shows how (Zarina) is partial towards her two daughters. Rano gets all the love and Disha gets all the work.

Comes in the hero--Inder--who loves Disha and whom Disha loves. As the story moves, Disha realises her sister is in love--but not knowing with whom?? (but it is Inder) (Kanwaljeet) the father hands over the business to the younger generation and the younger generation---Disha, Inder and Gautham (Kanwaljeet's brothers' son) together go for their first business venture with the Kanaka Empire--the head being Dushyant. Dushyant is on the lookout for a model for his jewellery exhibit. He sees Disha and wants her to do this work but Disha refuses not knowing that he is the owner of Kanaka empire, on whom their business project depends.

Dushyant gets furious and puts a proposal in front of her that if she models for them, he will give the project to their company. Disha refuses.(coz the modelling is obscene) The younger generation group lie to their folks regarding the venture and say that they got the project. In the mean time Inder's father presumes that Inder loves Rano and Rano loves Inder and thereby gives this news to (Zarina) who finally tells her husband and they plan on surprising Inder.

So when the younger generation return from their venture, there is party held for the celebration on getting the project and on the announcement of Inder's and Rano's alliance, on which Disha and Inder get shocked. (Zarina) on realising the truth about Inder and Disha, still wants Disha to sacrifice her love for Rano and Disha tries to do that. I like this program is because-- how can a mother be partial towards her own?? I guess there is a suspense to this .

Everyone in this serial acts their role well. Though it is a normal family drama, it is still the story of a girl in some parts of India who are still differentiated among other children or among boys in the society. Worth a watch!!!
