The Trivandrum Golf course was built sometimes in the early 1800 plus year for entertaining the British guests and officers by thr then Maharajah of Travancore, in his palace area near his Palace in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum).
The clubhouse is a beautiful red tiled pagoda shaped heritage structure. It's beauty and architectural grandeur can be believed only when one sees it.
The golf course is small but beautiful and with many species of old trees and flora and fauna. I enjoyed playing golf here.I could not win any of the main trophies but did win some in my then handicap category of above 19.
First time I played on a misty November morning is forever etched in my memory. The golf club evokes fond memories of the few years I played and enjoyed golf.
The club has some rooms and a restaurant and bar.
