Tirupati is a venketeshwara swamy temple. its an awesome place. its a place which is entirely controlled by the andhra government authority & the tirupati temple authority.
The beSt time to visit is the winter season .diwali vacation is the time when massive crowd visits the temple. lodging facility is also provided by the temple trust in the way of hotels & cottages. private hotels are also available.a great variety of food stuff is available there.
Trains like chennai express, chennai mail halts at renigunta railway station from where buses are available to reach the temple buses are also provided by both temple trust & private too.
A website is hosted by the temple authority where bookings for prasadham & poojas can be made. anytime you visit during the year a minimum amount of crowd is always there in the temple. the temple is surrounded by 7 hills hence also called as saptagiri. strictly plastic is prohibited at tirupati well cleaned & maintained place. beautiful temple with museum, auditorium, temple halls etc. roadroute to the temple via hills is breathtaking. its simply awesome place to visit with family.
