Triple 9 is a Action - Crime Movie Starred by Kate Winslet, Woody Harrelson, Casey Affleck, Anthony Mackie, Aaron Paul etc. The Star cast seems to be great on the paper, Indeed it was but all of them failed to deliver stand up performances! So simply the whole film fallen down!
When I first watched the trailer, I was excited not just by the trailer itself but the star cast it consists! Many of them are award winners and gave memorable performances in the past! But after watching the film, I must say I was totally disappointed! I was expecting a Action Crime movie that should be Enthralling to watch but in the end it came out as Garbage!
The story is about 4 corrupt govt officials(3 Cops and one Ex-Military men) who pulled out a Heist in a Bank by the order of some Russian Gang Leader Irina(Kate Winslet). Now after the heist Irina gave them another last work to do but in between a New Cop Arrives in the town to investigate. Chris(Casey Affleck) and he tries to solve the Heist case and when the antagonists see him becoming a danger to every one of them that's when they panned to execute him in order to save themselves. But the twists and plots turned out sideways and in the end how all of theirs lives shattered up, That's all the story is about!
Now See, The film has an interesting Plot I must say, No doubt about that! But failed to execute it properly! The Dialogues are not catchy or suitable to the atmosphere of the movie, The direction is poor, Cinematography is just OK and the background music is average! but the most disappointing thing was the performances of each character! The character development was poor, We couldn't relate to any one of them! We couldn't feel their Emotions, Rage, Anxiety at all! And for this kind of plot where strong performances were essentially needed, it failed to do so!
In the end I must say, It was Purely disappointing, nothing there which is worth of your time, so you might happily skip it! As it won't give you the enjoyment or satisfaction! At all!
