I had booked a table for two(me n my wife) at this restaurant, just on a hunch that it would be a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Right from the way my booking request was handled it was a great experience.
We had a table on the open air terrace and surprisingly the traffic noise was so very minimal that we could only hear horns faintly. The lighting(as it was a day before the new year's eve) was stunning. Ambience was far better that the so called creme de la creme joints around Koregaon Park and other "happening places".
The captain gave us the menu cards(as usual the liquor part was automatically placed in front of me) and I choose my usual with a fresh lime soda for my wife. We got an inkling of the extremely efficient service from the moment we ordered the drinks; in fact within 5 to 10 minutes it was on the table with the starters.
The captain also helped us in selecting the main course and though we were apprehensive about the oriental food we ordered(including the soup) he assured us that he would get us preparations of our choice in case we did not like the thai flavours. We stuck to the sea food all thru' and let me assure all prospective visitors to stick to the sea food preparations.
The taste was just fabulous, quantity more that enough for two, service very fast and courteous, food presentation damn good. All in all a fantastic wining and dining experience(complete approval by the home minister), though some will definitely crib about the prices; what the hell, its worth paying a bit more for an all round great experience.
