Having decided to buy a Chevy Spark after comparisons with WagonR and Santro, first I contacted all the 3 Chevy dealers in Bangalore and got their quotes. The next day I confirmed with Trident for a test drive and the sales executive came on the dot at the appointed time. The car brought for the drive was a LPG model. Explaining of features, the cost and the deal, the procedure to make a purchase - all were satisfactory. Later that day, he again came down and picked me up to the showroom for the booking and dropped me back. There was a bit of miscommunication regarding the delivery date. The delivery was late by 6 days. But overall the service was excellent, the sales executive never ignored my calls - he would always call back whenever he was unable to take my call - even after the booking and payment was done. Staff courtesy, ambience, the buying and delivery experience - all were excellent.
Needless to add, the car itself is like a dream. Am getting 16 kmpl in city driving, A/C use about 20%. Since the torque is higher, the need for frequent gear changes is lessened.
I have since referred one person to the dealership, who is satisfied with the dealer.

My personal experience with the service center also has been good. Reception is very courteous, I receive after-service follow up calls each time from a direct line where any complaints can be raised regarding the service. For service pick-up the driver generally arrives at the agreed time and I receive correct updates about the time when it will be dropped back. Once though, they banged my car and caused a serious dent above the tail lamp, but they rectified it at their cost without any arguments.

The driver who cam for pick-up and drop was a shady character. He asked for a payment of 300 rupees on arriving, since I know this is not necessary I refused. He dropped the car back on time. This is the first negative experience with Trident for me.

After using the Spark for 5 years, I sold it and took a Beat Petrol from the same dealer. The buying experience was ok, but they did not show any special consideration for a customer of 5 years.
In one of the paid services a few years later, the service advisor added quite a few optional tasks to the job card without letting me know that they were optional. I was unhappy with the final bill amount, and again, despite being a customer for over 7 years, the service manager nor the service advisor addressed my complaint adequately. I have never gone back to Trident service center again till now.
