I have been with trident service center for about 7 years now. I have seen the center( ring road- koramangala) start from zero to what it is nowWhat is sad is that since the time it started, the number of cars they get must have tripled, but the center capacity has not caught pase.The number of offices around( EGL) has caused so many more customers to come there, but then since the capacity has not increased, its becoming a pain. Some thoughtsI went for paid service, have been there for free service also
You must not reach later than 10 AM, get up really early and reach 8:30 if you want to be attended to promptly. I waited almost 45 minutes last time after reaching at 9:20 AM!!! They just do NOT have enough people to attend to you quickly. The space too is limited to park ur car and thats a big pain cause its a busy road. Seems like hyundai did not have any vision when they planned this service center
Do not expect a nice smiling person at the reception, they had good folks sometime back, now they have grouchy people who are really fed up (looks like) attending to customers
The attendants are decent, they will take down things carefully and are courteous. They are also experienced and know how to handle tough customers( I have seen a few of them shouting so I know)
The real bad part is that they just cannot fix a problem once. I had a few minor issues and ALL the time when getting the car back, they are not seen gone and am asked to give the car back.I also had a couple of insurance claims, which was handled well only till the actual repair. Once I had to leave it AGAIN for paint and second time again for the repair.
5.The worst part for me- someone who likes his car really clean is getting it back with greasy marks( thanks to the cheap soap oil they use for washing) and with the useless polish they useI need to use my special car wash to clear off the grease all the time once I reach home.
There just seems to be NO Choice where to go as this is the closest and I have heard worse from other centers.( that is why am recommending it)Billing does not take much time and they deliver usually at the estimated time given.Overall- hyundai needs to learn from maruti what customer service is and needs to ramp up and scale up BIG TIME.Hyundai cars are selling- but surely not with after sales service as a pull factor...
