This is the worst type of service I have faced. I had bade a bus booking for travel on June 26th 2013. The ticket gave a confirmed reservation in a non A/C bus at 10.10pm from Amritsar to Katra by Bhatia Travels (Reference PNR No 10271713-124007 Seat 17-18).
The seat numbers were showing up in their realtime online bus booking system, which we chose. Travelyaari.com also called me up at the time of booking to confirm receipt of payment and assured me that there would be no problem.
On reaching the boarding point noted on the SMS ticket near Amritsar bus stand at 9.30pm after a very long train journey, we found that the travel operators were unwilling to acknowledge knowing any Bhatia travels bus. When we showed the printout of the ticket, they asked us to wait. We waited till midnight and there was no sign of any bus.
After much persuasion, we were then taken to another bus station nearby herded together in an auto. The transporters asked for the bus number. We had only the ticket numbers. No one was willing to recognize the internet ticket receipt. After much persuasion, we could get on a bus which started at 1.00 a.m. and refused to go beyond Jammu.
At Jammu, again after much persuasion, they put us in crowded bus for Katra, very uncomfortably seated and finally managed to reach Katra.
I have given the same feedback to Travelyaari.com.They sent me an email mentioning that "We will take appropriate actions to ensure that these events are addressed. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you any reimbursement."
I have never asked them to reimburse any fare, but I want to share my experience with others who intend to use the services of Travelyaari.com for their travel plans.
I have promised never to use Travelyaari.com for any bus booking and will also advise all persons to stay away from such websites.
